Program value

A research-oriented doctorate with 30 hours of dissertation credit, multidisciplinary security study and a required operational cybersecurity experience component.

Admission requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in STEM, homeland security or a closely related field; normally a 3.3 GPA; personal statement naming a potential advisor, résumé, three recommendations, transcripts and international evaluation where applicable.

On campus in Colorado Springs. The program admits fall and spring cohorts; official deadlines are February 1 for fall and October 1 for spring.
