You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) of MARCORSYSCOM.
You will develop and implement information security policies to protect systems, networks, and data from unauthorized access and ensure reliability.
You will conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and devise strategies to enhance system security.
You will promote security awareness across the organization to align security practices with overall goals.
You will lead the design of secure systems, ensuring they meet security standards throughout their lifecycle.
You will manage incident responses, conducting investigations and forensics to resolve security breaches.
You will provide guidance and training on information assurance to personnel, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
You will manage the vulnerability management program, ensuring regular scans and compliance with security requirements.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - DoD 8140 IAM Level II/III Certification: Must possess and maintain an active, industry-recognized baseline security credential (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CAP/ISC2 CCSP, or GSLC) to satisfy federal IAM requirements. - Active Security Clearance: Must hold and be able to maintain an active federal security clearance (Top Secret), based on a completed and favorable background investigation. - Risk Management Framework (RMF) Expertise: Proven experience utilizing NIST SP 800-37 RMF and NIST SP 800-53 controls to lead system Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes, manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and secure an Authority to Operate (ATO). - Professional Cybersecurity Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or IT systems administration, with direct experience implementing and monitoring security policies. - Technical System Auditing & Governance: Demonstrated proficiency in configuring and auditing enterprise environments using automated tools (such as eMASS, ACAS/Nessus, and STIGs) to maintain continuous monitoring and vulnerability management.
