You will serve as SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (SECURITY/SYSTEMS ANALYST) in the COMMAND GROUP N00, CMSA-PAC HONOLULU, HAWAII.

You will maintain effective management, security, and support of a complex set of interconnected systems, networks, and services, as well as ensuring a high level of mission assurance.

You will manage the maintenance and control of all system software and hardware, balancing the needs of program managers, cybersecurity specialists, and operations leads to ensure the completion of the commands’ missions, functions, and tasks.

You will develop overarching systems and network architecture plans to support long-term viability of the commands IT portfolio, while also overseeing the short and medium-term lifecycle management of existing IT infrastructure.

You will plan work to be accomplished, set and adjust short-term and long-term priorities, and prepare work completion schedules.

Your resume must demonstrate one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Manages and configures network services. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Provides support to the end user by diagnosing and solving a variety of computer and system problems. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Provides advice and guidance to managers and customers. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Applies methods and practices for troubleshooting, recovering, modifying, and improving systems to solve complex problem. GS-13: In addition to experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Experience supervising multiple matrix teams to accomplish the operation and maintenance of all division software and hardware, balancing the needs of program managers, cybersecurity specialists, and operations supervisors to ensure the completion of the command's missions, functions, and tasks. Experience developing and implementing the division's long-term strategic objectives and goals for the purpose of sustainment, stability, quality, capability, and capacity in support of overall command mission, functions and tasks. Experience developing and refining Cybersecurity policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of IT and services throughout the command. Experience conducting risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems and resolves and/or mitigates vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs. Experience communicating complex IT and Cybersecurity concepts, standards and methods to non-technical personnel. Experience developing the division budget with the Department Head and comptroller to support the command's mission, functions, and tasks.
