You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the COMMAND OPERATIONS DEPT INFORMATION SYSTEMS DIV INFO ASSUR & SECURITY BR of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

You will identify technical and cybersecurity issues, analyze information, determine root causes, and develop practical solutions while minimizing mission impact and ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and security requirements

You will reviewing information systems to understand system functionality, architecture, and security requirements.

you will demonstrated ability to manage assigned workloads, prioritize competing requirements, meet established deadlines, take ownership of assigned systems and projects.

you will planning, coordinating, and tracking information technology and cybersecurity initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized Experience; Cybersecurity - Experience implementing and maintaining cybersecurity requirements to protect information systems. Ability to assess security controls, identify vulnerabilities, support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, and ensure systems meet applicable federal, DoD, Department of the Navy, and organizational cybersecurity requirements throughout the system lifecycle. Information Technology System Analysis - Experience reviewing information systems to understand system functionality, architecture, and security requirements. Ability to evaluate system configurations and proposed changes, identify potential security impacts, and recommend solutions that balance operational requirements with cybersecurity compliance. Problem Solving - Ability to independently identify technical and cybersecurity issues, analyze available information, determine root causes, and develop practical solutions while minimizing mission impact and ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and security requirements. Written Communication - Experience preparing clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation including security plans, risk assessments, standard operating procedures, inspection responses, technical guidance, and correspondence for both technical and non-technical audiences. Accountability - Demonstrated ability to manage assigned workloads, prioritize competing requirements, meet established deadlines, take ownership of assigned systems and projects, follow through on corrective actions, and produce quality work with minimal supervision while ensuring compliance with organizational and cybersecurity requirements. Information Technology Project Management - Experience planning, coordinating, and tracking information technology and cybersecurity initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Ability to establish priorities, manage project milestones, monitor progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure projects and assigned tasks are completed on schedule while meeting security, operational, and organizational requirements. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
