Responsibilities

As a consultant you will deliver solutions to customers enabling them to achieve greater productivity form their investment in Microsoft technology. As part of the Microsoft community, you will be responsible for crafting, and deploying high quality solutions using the latest Microsoft products and technologies in demanding customer environments. Consultants also ensure customers have an understanding of the relevant application features, infrastructure, and operations implications of the solution. You will engage in effective dialog with senior-level technology decision makers to ensure the solution achieves the expected business value. Communication with your customer is important so that the technical solution meats the business need. You will continuously demonstrate your real passion for the customer through integrity and aspiring for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience.

Qualifications

Required:
5+ years of experience in IT systems development or consulting
Ability to communicate O365 Exchange product benefits and our unique service capabilities and offerings to IT and business leaders.
Demonstrated knowledge of Exchange Online and O365 plans for commercial and government sectors and hybrid connectivity between O365 and on-premises servers and clients.
Experience in designing and deploying Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, 2013, and 2016Enterprise and Standard Editions
Experience with migrations of prior Exchange Server versions to O365 Exchange Online.
Knowledge of the roles and features, as well as improvements in Microsoft Exchange 2013 and 2016 including mail flow, high availability, archiving, managed availability, administration via GUI and shell environments, and integration with other Microsoft products.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in designing Microsoft Exchange for specific load scenarios using calculator toolsets.
Ability to connect end users to Exchange via Outlook for both PC/MAC, web-based configurations, and mobile devices.
Deep understanding of storage technologies i.e., SAN, JBOD and their technical, operational, and financial impacts to deployments and customers.
Demonstrated knowledge in supporting Windows Server operating systems and their configurations to support clustering with Exchange Server.
Understanding of network traffic management principles and technologies such as load balancers, WAN optimizers, etc.
Understanding of core TCP/IP and OSI networking principles.
Experience in customer-facing roles with demonstrated capability in clearly presenting thoughts and ideas confidently to audiences of various sizes and technical knowledge levels.
Demonstrated aptitude for providing extraordinary customer service in politically charged environments.
Ability to adapt to the customer’s changing needs or requirements as they arise.
Ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and also as part of a global team of Consultants and Engineers
Possess real passion for continuous learning, strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and time management skills, and good judgement.
Ability to improve the technical expertise of peers via the development of product related intellectual capital and mentoring new hires.
Ability to apply knowledge to improve existing products and systems in the customer environment and for internal use.
Assist in developing strategies to gain additional business by communicating opportunities to sales teams.

Preferred qualifications:
Understanding of PKI such as smart card logons, and associated software typically seen in government scenarios.
Understanding of Windows Server, Hyper-V, MS Cluster Server/Multi-vendor Cluster and SAN implementations, Active Directory, Internet Explorer, IIS, Skype, SharePoint.
Windows Server 2012 certification via MCSA or MCSE certification.
Exchange and O365 certification via MCSE for Messaging.
Azure architecture certification via 70-534.
Storage or other networking certifications are a plus.
Experience with using Outlook connectivity modes.
Experience with scripting or programming languages such as C, Java and use of Exchange Shell a plus.
Security+ or CISSP Certification.

Education:
Minimum bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems. Will consider related field (or equivalent) experience.

Travel:
Travel may be required for this position up to 75%. Relocation assistance may be available on a case by case basis.

Security Clearance:
The candidate for this role needs a current a US Government Security Clearance at Top Secret or higher
