IDAM Analyst

Description

Job Purpose and Scope:

The Identity & Access Management (IDAM) Analyst reports to the IDAM Program Manager, and is responsible for supporting the Bank's IDAM and Information Security Awareness and Training (ISAT) Programs.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Supports the Identity and Access Management (IDAM), and Information Security Awareness & Training Programs (ISAT).

  2. Conduct User Access Reviews (UARs) for critical, SOX and GLBA covered applications and others as appropriate.

  3. IDAM System Administrator – responsible for daily processing, upkeep, configuration and operation of IDAM System ensuring user access is appropriate.

  4. Generate Simulated Phishing Campaigns to test users’ knowledge and response to phishing emails.

  5. Execute remedial Phishing Training for users.

  6. Monitor Security Awareness Training for all employees.

  7. Proposes changes and improvements to internal processes and procedures that will improve operational efficiency;

  8. Assists in the development and execution of security policies, standards, guidelines, plans and procedures;

  9. Resolves service desk security emails and escalates security incidents as applicable;

  10. Performs reviews of security activities and reports, providing a technical and non-technical oversight toward the prevention of Information Security incidents;

  11. Makes decisions based on analytical reports that address control design gaps.

     

    Marginal Job Duties:

  1. Coordinates and collaborates with the SOC, Help Desk, IT, Risk teams and Lines of Business (LOB) to remediate identified risks and vulnerabilities;

  2. Audits system access and reports to ensure security policy enforcement;

  3. Assists in Privacy Impact Assessments.

     

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Knowledgeable in security issues, vulnerabilities, regulatory and legal changes, and security standards that may impact Information Security;

  2. Thorough understanding in cloud theory and networking infrastructure;

  3. Skilled in multiple operating systems and commands, as well as an understanding of Information Security and network best practices;

  4. Ability to perform tasks including monitoring, researching, classifying and analyzing security events that occur on the network or endpoints;

  5. Working knowledge in principals of network and endpoint security, current threat and attack trends, and security principals;

  6. Must effectively deal with rapid technological and business changes while maintaining enthusiasm, displaying sound judgment, and being a complex problem solver.

  7. A highly motivated self-starter.

  2. Basic Office Equipment

     

    Major Job Demands (Physical/Mental):

  1. Must be able to work in high stress environment.



Basic Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  2. Three (1) year experience in IDAM or ISAT or other relevant Information Assurance related work required.

  3. Currently possess (or is willing to obtain) a relevant industry certification (CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CIA etc.).

  4. Minimum of two years of experience in IT or Information Security, including knowledge of information systems compliance and security controls preferred
