We are looking to hire a Senior Director to establish and lead functions that power the Blackhawk Network Global Corporate IT team for our global employee base. These include our global service desk, ERP and CRM, corporate network and infrastructure, collaboration, A/V and Telecom tools, identity management, and software and hardware asset lifecycle management, on a global, follow-the-sun basis. This position will join and lead an existing team that supports the Corporate IT group and will report to the Global VP of Security, Infrastructure, and IT.


  • Manage a multi-million global budget and team
  • Collaborates with stakeholders throughout the organization to synthesize a comprehensive set of requirements that aligned to business objectives, while gaining full understanding of current business processes
  • Partner with the business to define the portfolio of programs, projects and applications and ensure that the overall sector IT long-term plan and budget are aligned
  • Collaborate with other parts of corporate sector staff departments, external partners and customers to ensure adequate and timely delivery of agreed services, in line with agreed service levels
  • Understand the specific challenges and opportunities linked to the regulatory, legal and economic situation across countries and business units
  • Understand and contribute to industry strategy, and translate business strategy into an aligned IT portfolio of programs, projects and applications. Develop long-term (3-5 year) organizational growth plan that leverages metrics, automation, and standardization to gradually tune the organization and scale efficiently, globally
  • Oversee, develop, and expand existing service and project portfolio, including: Global Service Desk, Network and Infrastructure, Collaboration tools, ERP and CRM, A/V and Telephony, Identity and Access Management, Asset Lifecycle Management, Endpoint Management, Global Office Expansion
  • Lead team to define, document and standardize business needs, business processes, flows and diagrams within the enterprise applications such ERP, CRM, productivity tools, etc.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to build requirements and roadmaps to integrate acquired entities from M&A activities
  • Communicate successes throughout leadership teams by metrics and KPIs illustrating the business value of IT solutions
  • Identify additional opportunities to reduce costs or business cycles
  • Ensures clear communication of project scopes, timing, prioritization, budgets, resource needs, and progress on an ongoing basis
  • Assess the underlying information and technology environment within the organization making recommendations regarding how to invest in and apply best practices and innovative technology while achieving long-term scalability, reducing operational costs, better supporting business processes, and driving change management within the organization
  • Establish staffing/resources plans determining appropriate mix of sourcing opportunities while maximizing overall organizational effectiveness
  • Champion change and innovation. Stimulate creativity and innovation in others. Open to new ideas. Support those who initiate change and take risks. Promote a global perspective
  • Manages vendor relationships needed to attain operational goals and complete projects


  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science; or related discipline/equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of IT experience leading global teams, with at least 7+ years leading global teams
  • 6+ years managing ERP and CRM functional and engineering functions. Knowledge and understanding of ERP concepts such as manufacturing, planning, supply chain, order to cash, and procure to pay (Microsoft Dynamics 365, CRM preffered)
  • 4+ years managing Business Productivity, Service Desk/Help Desk, A/V, and Telephony functions (Office 365 preferred)
  • 4+ years managing the design, implementation, and roll out of enterprise applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of Electronic Data Interchange
  • Knowledge and understanding of Product Lifecycle Management
  • Experience leading and managing a global IT enterprise applications or other operations team across multiple geographic regions
  • A passion for developing, coaching and mentoring a team of mid to senior level managers; strong in hiring, team building and organizational development
  • Develop and maintain relationships with executives across multiple divisions
  • Experience in leading inter-organization change to increase efficiency through the implementation of technology
  • Experience participating in M&A discussions, driving requirements and roadmaps to successfully integrate acquired entities
  • Experience maintaining compliance and controls for SOC, SOX, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, CSA frameworks
