Leverages expert knowledge of industry and best practices to advise clients on complex project approaches, methodologies, and tools to provide superior results.

Leverages extensive experience to predict future roadblocks in client projects and formulates strategic action plans to prevent them.

Reviews client deliverables and provides advanced recommendations and analysis to support the project.

Leads highly specialized and/or unique projects for clients to provide exceptional results.

Performs peer reviews, confirms client expectations, and monitors client satisfaction of deliverables and services.

Lead commercial consulting engagements

Follow, promote, and facilitate the adoption of cyber risk practices/processes.

Reviews and enhances suggested new ways and/or formulates new approaches of applying cyber processes and technologies.

Responsible for developing and managing profitable project budget, as well as negotiating changes.

Responsible for the development of pricing of projects and securing appropriate selection of resources.
-
Responsible for the development and securing of client service agreements.
-
Complies with company policy and procedures for timekeeping, expense reporting and billing.

Develop and effectively deliver complex written and oral communications, such as proposals, technical concepts and deliverables.

Articulate internal and external business goals and overall strategies needed to attain business goals.

Creates templates or other written materials to be utilized by consulting colleagues, in particular in cross-sell of Cyber expertise.

Well-versed on current cyber security technologies, industry developments, and issues, to direct best practices and resources, in a specialty area/identified business need.

Complies with and checks performance against professional standards and best practices.

Understanding of balance sheets, 10-k’s and other financial tools, to assess Clients/business.

Develops new and expanded business opportunities, independently and/or through spheres of influence within MRC/Marsh.

Coordinates business development activities (e.g. seminars, mailings, etc.).

Directs, performs, or reviews research (e.g. reviews annual report, financial data, benchmarking, etc) for business development purposes.

Creates or seeks opportunities to develop new skills and broaden and deepen knowledge for yourself and colleagues.

Creates a team environment of continuous feedback and idea sharing. Involved in external associations to contribute skills and enhance technical abilities.

Qualifications

Licensing according to company policy or applicable law.

Minimum 12 years cyber security consulting.

Experience as a trusted cyber security advisor to senior clients

Successful track record of business development and management including competitive proposal development

Understanding of risk and methodologies for the quantification of loss event magnitude and probability
-
Understanding of the cyber security legal and regulatory environment of one or more industries
-
Experience with industry standards and frameworks in cyber security (e.g., ISO 27000-series, CCS Critical Security Controls, NIST standards, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, FFIEC, etc)

Experience in the management and career development of cyber security consultants
-
Experience leading a consulting organization

Evidence of analytical expertise and thought leadership in cyber security

Experience in public speaking at conferences, panels, and other events related to cyber security
-
Cyber-related certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, etc)

Cyber publications or thesis

Experience in cyber security at the enterprise level in private sector or government (e.g., CISO, IT, or Risk organization, etc)
